Get Ready for the U.S. Spec Civic Type R
Drivers on the other side of the pond are currently getting their fill of the brand-new Honda Civic Type R, a car that until this spring, was not destined for the U.S. market. At the New York Auto Show, however, we got word that the Type R was in fact, bound for our shores, and the Euro-spec model is its blueprint.
While we expect the U.S. Type R to look more in line with the Civic Concept shown at the show–and not the model displayed in the video below–insider reports give us hope that the model won’t shirk the 306 horsepower, front-wheel-drive fun of the model. And that’s pretty darn exciting, if we do say so ourselves.
