2017 Honda Accord HybridThe 2016 Honda Accord might be one of the most efficient cars in its class, but the new 2017 Honda Accord Hybrid will deliver even more efficiency than the base model. Here at Brilliance Honda of Crystal Lake we’re looking forward to bringing Chicagoland drivers this ultra efficient hybrid option. Find out more here about the new model!

Hybrid Performance and Efficiency

The Honda Accord Hybrid returns for the 2017 model year. First off, it achieves even better efficiency figures. The EPA has rated the 2017 Accord Hybrid at 49 mpg city/47 mpg highway/48 mpg combined*, which is the highest EPA estimate for any midsize sedan. The Honda Accord Hybrid will also offer more power than the previous version, with a total system output of 212 hp, which puts it at the front of its class when it comes to performance.

The Honda Accord Hybrid employs a unique system that uses the electric motor to drive the wheels in most situations, while the gas engine will act as a generator to recharge the battery. When more power is needed both the gas engine and the electric motor can deliver power for that combined output and maximum performance.

High-Tech Safety

The 2017 Honda Accord Hybrid will be the first vehicle in the Honda model line to include the Honda Sensing package as standard equipment. That means you’ll have adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning and prevention, forward collision warning, automatic collision prevention braking, and road departure mitigation in every Honda Accord Hybrid.
